Friday 16 October - Sunday 18 October: Complaint form offline

The supplier of our case management system has confirmed that they are experiencing a significant technical issue.

At present, we have no access to the case management system and we are currently unable to take new Public Service Complaints or provide updates on cases. We are planning on the basis that this could continue for a period of time including next week.

Please be assured we are doing all we can and will provide updates on our website.

Scottish Welfare Fund Decision Letter Survey

Your feedback is important to us.

Tell us what you think of the new design of our Scottish Welfare Fund review decision letter in our survey: https://forms.office.com/e/8AY7szX5Qp

Why are we doing this:

We’re committed to making our communications with customers as clear and accessible as possible. With this in mind, we’ve reviewed and updated our Scottish Welfare Fund (SWF) decision letters.

Here’s what’s changed:

  • Removed duplicated content
  • Used bullet points for clarity
  • Shortened and simplified the text
  • Moved statutory guidance to a separate attachment

These changes are designed to help customers quickly and clearly understand the decision we’ve made and the reasons for it.

What we are asking you to do:

Please read the example decision letter we have provided. Then complete a short survey to tell us what you think. The survey includes a few quick questions and space for you to share any comments.

How your feedback will be used
Your responses will help us:

  • Check if the new letter is clearer and easier to understand
  • Make further improvements if needed
  • Ensure we are communicating in a way that works for customers

Thank you for taking the time to share your views.
