Friday 16 October - Sunday 18 October: Complaint form offline

The supplier of our case management system has confirmed that they are experiencing a significant technical issue.

At present, we have no access to the case management system and we are currently unable to take new Public Service Complaints or provide updates on cases. We are planning on the basis that this could continue for a period of time including next week.

Please be assured we are doing all we can and will provide updates on our website.

The Office of the Patient Safety Commissioner for Scotland plays a vital role in strengthening the safety and quality of healthcare across the nation. The Scottish Public Services Ombudsman (SPSO) is managing the recruitment for this office.  We are pleased to advertise the below role:

This role will lead the delivery of corporate services and operational management across finance, audit, governance, ICT, office management and information governance, ensuring robust systems, controls and value for money.

Closing date: 10am Monday 25 May 2026

Please note that the role advertised is for the Patient Safety Commissioner and not for the SPSO.
