Monday 19 October: Complaint form offline

The supplier of our case management system has confirmed that they are experiencing a significant technical issue.

At present, we have no access to the case management system and we are currently unable to take new Public Service Complaints or provide updates on cases. We are planning on the basis that this could continue for a period of time including next week.

Please be assured we are doing all we can and will provide updates on our website.

Decision report 201004424

  • Case ref:
    201004424
  • Date:
    October 2011
  • Body:
    East Dunbartonshire Council
  • Sector:
    Local Government
  • Outcome:
    Not upheld, no recommendations
  • Subject:
    maintenance and repair of roads

Summary
Mr C complained about the condition of the road outside his house and the council's failure to appropriately assess it and prioritise it for re-surfacing. He was also dissatisfied with the way the council dealt with his complaint.

We did not uphold his complaints as our investigation found that the council had followed the appropriate procedures with regard to both the road and the handling of Mr C's complaints.
